New Upscale Campground in Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Valley Overlook, a new upscale campground in Ohio's Cuyahoga Valley National Park, is set to open next month, offering a luxurious camping experience on a 62-acre property recently purchased by a Brecksville family for $900,000. The site includes historic buildings like a 1938 brick dining hall and cabins being renovated for summer.

The property will feature fully furnished platform tents, cabins, and tent sites, accommodating various preferences. Valley Overlook aims to enhance the national park experience without competing by providing a peaceful atmosphere and focusing on outdoor activities like hiking, biking, canoeing, and kayaking.

The Schoen family, the new owners, plans to launch online reservations soon, with a mid-May start for overnight stays. While considering future additions like RV sites, they emphasize preserving the land's natural beauty.

Valley Overlook represents a unique, luxurious way to explore the national park, setting the standard for upscale campgrounds in the area.
