Already boasting a distinguished five-star rating from the AA, this adults-only retreat offers opulent lodges, outdoor hot tubs, and en-suite glamping pods. The Gold Pennant site, located near Buxton, provides a variety of accommodations and all-weather pitches for camping and tourers.
Managed by Sam Kitchen, her husband Ian, and brother James, Longnor Wood is thrilled at the prospect of being recognized at the Peak District, Derbyshire, and Derby Tourism Awards. The site's unique charm, set against a backdrop of woodlands with excellent walking routes, pubs, and market towns in close proximity, contributes to its status as a finalist.
